 An Night of Music in support of ALONE

I am very proud to have been given the opportunity to organise such an event on behalf of the charitable organisation, ALONE. Bell X1, Lisa O’Neill & JAPE (Richie Egan) performed a night of music in support of an organization who, since 1977 have supported thousands of older people to age at home. Through their Befriending service, ALONE currently have over 500 volunteers who provide companionship to hundreds of older people through a weekly visit and delivered 365 days a year.   Read more about Alone here ->  alone.ie 

 For this semi-seated show in Dublin’s legendary Whelans,  Bell X1 will be performing their acoustic-ish set, and will be joined by the Blow the Dust String Quartet, featuring members of the National Concert Hall's Blow the Dust Orchestra .  The Blow the Dust Orchestra is designed to encourage older people, who once played instruments, to take them out of their cases, dust them off, and join fellow musicians in forming an orchestra. 

Also joining us in helping ALONE for this special evening was the singular Lisa O'Neill and uniquely talented JAPE (Richie Egan). Both renowned for their engaging lyricism and beautiful songs, we couldn't have been happier , or more lucky, that we got to have them BOTH perform for us.
